East Dome 2010 Remodel

This gallery contains images of the newly remodeled East Dome at the George Observatory in Brazos Bend State Park, Texas. The gallery also shows the recoated primary and secondary mirrors that are used by the 18" Newtonian Reflector telescope, owned and operated by the Fort Bend Astronomy Club. The 18" telescope is used for asteroid hunting by Fort Bend Astronomy Club members (480+ discoveries) and also hosts thousands of visitors each year to the George Observatory.
